Three styles of tote bags and zippered "cosmetic bags". All very sturdy cypress cotton canvas, dozens of colors and patterns.
Aussie Acres Totes was born out of my personal need for a sturdy but stylish tote bag! After searching fabric stores and the internet I found the cypress cotton canvas I use to make the totes in fabulous colors and patterns meeting almost everyone's interest or hobby.
In 2021, I bought a Singer sewing machine and soon had orders for tote bags simply by word of mouth. My husband, seeing I had too many orders that first Christmas offered to help and he was hired!
I joined the Chestatee Artists Association in Dahlonega, bought a tent, and began setting up at small art festivals and other events where I could sell bags. Since we have four dogs, three horses, eight chickens and the world's sweetest barn cat, many bags have animal themes. The beauty is that I can find a pattern for you or actually design it myself and have the fabric company print it for me. I have dappled in some graphic art.
When we aren't sewing, we are busy gardening in our traditional garden and the hydroponic garden, taking care of animals and my husband, Chris does have a paying job at River Bend Gun Club!
