Ball Ground Botanical Garden

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in June 2015 during National Garden Week, followed by the official dedication of the garden in June 2016. Club members are responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the garden, which features several distinct areas: the Conifer/Welcome Beds, Four Seasons Garden, Butterfly Garden, Herb Garden, Bog Garden, Native Garden, and East Asian Garden. The Butterfly Garden is listed as number 53 on the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail. Numerous members contribute regularly to the upkeep and enhancement of the garden.

The Ball Ground Botanical Garden is open to the public at all times, with complimentary admission. Visitors are invited to enjoy a leisurely walk through the grounds, bring lunch to enjoy on one of the many benches, or take shelter under the pavilion during inclement weather. Group visits are welcome.
